"Dickinson Dees dominates the north east region from its base in Newcastle, standing head and shoulders above most competitors in terms of size and quality.

Its' reputation is by no means confined to its geographical area; the firm has a national reputation for excellence and a nationwide client base.”

Beyond Our Business

Dickinson Dees recognises that it occupies a privileged position; it is a highly successful business with excellent staff providing a quality service. We also recognise that this privilege carries with it a social responsibility – a responsibility to look beyond the success of our business at the needs of the communities in which we operate.

We see it as our duty to do what we can, however modest our efforts may be, to help those in our communities who are in need of support. This is very much part of the firm’s culture and an essential element of the firm’s ethos.

We have produced a document that focuses on a central theme of our social responsibility programme - what is commonly referred to as “giving something back”. Other key components of our programme are our relationship with our staff (including our “well being” initiative and our diversity and equal opportunities policies) and our efforts to reduce our impact on the environment.

The banner under which the firm promotes these activities is Beyond Our Business – or BOB. The character BOB himself, is the champion and mascot of our “giving something back” efforts. He was created by Oliver Brack of Archibold First School in a competition we ran amongst local schools.
