| Robin is the Senior Partner of the firm. His particular area of expertise is advising on, and representing clients in connection with, contentious employment law matters. He provides training to clients on general employment law issues and specific areas of interest. |

| Glenn Calvert |
| Glenn is a partner and the head of the Human Resources Group. Before joining Dickinson Dees, Glenn spent six years with City of London practice Freshfields. He has considerable experience in advising major clients on large scale re-structuring of employee terms and conditions, re-organisations and substantial redundancy programmes. He also has expertise in collective bargaining, trade union recognition issues, industrial action and TUPE, particularly in relation to contracting out. |

| Hilary Cranston |
Hilary joined Dickinson Dees LLP in 2003 and, since qualifying into the Human Resources Group, Hilary has advised a range of clients in both the public and private sectors on a wide variety of employment law issues. Hilary handles hotline queries on a daily basis, advising on issues which include dealing with disciplinary and grievance matters, redundancies, managing ill-health absences, discrimination and whistle-blowing issues. She also advises in relation to Employment Tribunal disputes and disputes arising from contractual terms of employment. Hilary has a particular interest in discrimination issues, including equal pay. She is a member of the team's Equal Pay Unit, and regularly advises both public and private sector clients on defending and minimising their exposure to such claims. |

| Laura Daniels |
Laura trained at a national law firm, and qualified as a solicitor in 2004. Before joining Dickinson Dees she worked at a firm in Chesterfield where she assisted in establishing a dedicated employment law scheme. As one of the team of employment specialists, her work includes preparation for and advocacy at tribunals; drafting, advising on, and negotiating settlements; and drafting contracts of employment, handbooks, policies and service agreements. Laura also provides telephone hotline advice on employment law issues to HR professionals. |

| Ed Duffield |
Since qualifying in 1998, Ed has specialised in employment law and has acted mostly for employers in a wide range of matters. Ed is based in the firm’s Tees Valley office and regularly assists clients with employment issues with a view to reducing their exposure to claims such as unfair dismissal, discrimination and breach of contract. Ed also regularly provides advice concerning the impact of TUPE and other issues affecting workforces on a collective level and frequently appears as an advocate in the Employment Tribunal. He also regularly presents seminars and workshops to clients on a wide range of employment issues. |

| Angharad Ellis-Owen |
Having qualified as a Barrister in 2001, Angharad practiced at the Bar in Cardiff where she built up a successful and varied practise. Being a Welsh speaker she is also experienced at presenting cases through the medium of Welsh. She moved in-house to Dickinson Dees in 2006. Since joining the team she has been involved in representing various NHS Trusts’ in their defence of large multiple equal pay/equal value claims. |

| Lorraine is a partner. She has specialised in employment law matters since 1991 and handles various contentious and non-contentious employment law issues. She has particular experience of equal pay/equal value claims. On the non-contentious side, Lorraine is regularly engaged in the provision of advice relating to the content and interpretation of policies and procedures that deal with human resource issues. She also advises on the handling of practical situations in which employment rules and regulations have an impact. |

Nicola has specialised in employment law since qualifying at Eversheds in 1997. She is involved in corporate support, executive terminations and advising clients on large-scale redundancies and carrying out employment law risk assessments. |

Sarah qualified as a solicitor in 1999, and joined Dickinson Dees in the litigation department in 2000. She is a litigation Professional Support Lawyer at Dickinson Dees, and has responsibility for knowledge management - monitoring and analysing new legislation and caselaw, and developments in litigation practice and procedure. Sarah writes client briefings and articles, and as the training coordinator for the department, she also assists with the organisation, preparation and delivery of client training. |

Claire-Jane has a particular interest in TUPE, business reorganisations and redundancies, advising employers on negotiations with employee representatives, harmonising terms and conditions before and after TUPE transfers and defending Employment Tribunal claims arising from consultation requirements, redundancies and TUPE related dismissals. Tom particularly enjoys providing in house training to clients in the management of HR issues and is a regular presenter of employment law update seminars. | After spending eight years training and then working in London, James joined Dickinson Dees in 1991. He became a partner in 1994. His non-contentious workload includes advising on large scale restructuring programmes, drafting new policy documents covering issues like whistle-blowing and parental leave as well as new employment contracts and advising frequently on the application of TUPE. Like other members of the Human Resources Group, James advises on a wide variety of misconduct issues, and frequently appears before the Employment Tribunals. |
