Dickinson Dees LLP builds on housing expertise - 22 Feb 2008
Dickinson Dees has been appointed to provide a full range of legal services to Three Rivers Housing Association.
A 20 strong team (led by Julia Kenny regeneration and Registered Social Landlord development associate) will provide advice to the North East-based housing association which has approximately 3000 properties in urban and rural areas around the region.
Similar to other housing associations, Three Rivers Housing Association has a Board of Management which has overall responsibility for the work of the organisation. The firm will provide comprehensive legal advice in relation to the Association’s development programme and housing matters.
Competition for the contract came from several North East and National rivals. Dickinson Dees clinched the contract due to its nationally recognised social housing expertise and its successful dominance in local markets.
Dickinson Dees already act on behalf of Places for People Group, Tees Valley Housing Group, Isos Housing Group and Erimus Housing Limited among others.
“Maintaining excellent buildings and management standards for customers is any housing authority’s key priority,” said Russell Hall, associate at Dickinson Dees and expert on RSL regulatory and compliance issues. “Three Rivers Housing Association ensures its customers receive best-of-breed customer service through excellent standards management both externally and internally. Customers can be assured that their property meets all governmental requirements.”
“Dickinson Dees is not just a major player in the North East but also has an excellent reputation for social housing expertise,” said Janette Longstaff, Head of Finance at Three Rivers Housing Association. “The team is able to offer clear, effective counsel on corporate, property and regulatory issues.”
