Expertise

    Andrew trained, qualified and spent six years practicing in Leeds (Addleshaw Goddard LLP) with two years in Bermuda (Appleby) and has been with Dickinson Dees LLP in Newcastle since March 2005.

    Throughout this time Andrew has specialised in trusts, tax and related advice to individuals, trustees and companies. Particular specialisms include advising corporate trustees and other companies (e.g. insurers) and advising business owners.

    Over the past five to six years Andrew has spoken at IIR conferences, CIOT seminars and in-house events. He has also provided trust training to corporate trustee and insurer clients. He is a frequent contributor to local press in and around Newcastle (e.g. The Journal and Northern Echo) and in-house publications. Andrew represents Dickinson Dees (Trust Corporation) Limited in its membership of The Association of Corporate Trustees (participating in quarterly private trust committee meetings).
